‘Love Me’ Artist Curtis Kulig Shoots: Fashion Week Day 4, Rewind and Repeat
[Editor's Note: You might not know Curtis Kulig's name, or even recognize his face, but you've definitely seen his work. The New York City-based artist rose to fame thanks to his ubiquitous Love Me campaign. His signature script has popped up all over the world, from Los Angeles to Istanbul, has led to collaborations with brands like Nike, DKNY, and Vans. In search of a fresh take on New York Fashion Week, we asked Kulig to take his camera backstage at some of the week's biggest shows, and shoot whatever strikes his fancy. Follow him all week for an intimate look behind the scenes.]
Half way through New York Fashion Week I keep seeing the same models, makeup artists, and hair stylists overs and over. It’s fascinating the way they can keep coming up with completely different looks from one show to the next with a totally different inspiration and feeling. I’m also into the way shows can be completely frantic yet calm at the same time. Here are my favorite photos of the day, and check out my shots from Days 1, 2, and 3.
