JM Dry Goods
You’ll find as much here for your home as you will for your body. The former Marfa, Texas-based shop carries the perfect mix of body products; from Marfa Brands soap bars (try rose clay with lavender) and Tulum’s Coqui Coqui perfumes to traditional reboz from Oaxaca and cleansing copal incense sticks, you’ll definitely find a cool souvenir here. The small store has the kind of chill, creative vibe that will make you want to spend all day inside. We won’t blame you if you do.

W3LL PEOPLE
The natural cosmetics brand’s flagship is located in Austin (next door to Spartan and JM Dry Goods—three birds, one stone). It’s stocked with the full toxin-free W3LL People line (pronounced ‘Well People’), plus other brands that share in their philosophy of simplicity, authenticity, and performance. They hold events monthly, and offer makeup application in the studio. You can find a range of shades from butter London nail polish, bestsellers from One Love Organics, and hair products by Dear Clark, a line made in Dallas.

Spartan
Sharing a space with JM Dry Goods is Spartan, a beautifully curated shop that includes home wears, accessories, and a lot of cool indie beauty products. You’ll want to buy French brand Nuxe’s Huile Prodigieuse—and dry oil that will really change your beauty game—as well as Cousu de fil blanc soaps, also from France. The best find? Spartan’s signature scent created by Portland, Oregon based fragrance company, OLO. Inspired by the Texas landscape, the rollerball combines cedar and sage with a hint of tequila. The South Congress area of Austin is home to great tacos (don’t miss Gueros) and even better vintage shopping. At Feather’s, you’ll not only find an entire wall of perfectly distressed Levi’s 501s but also a group of indie beauty products from Sisters of the Black Moon.
