5-Year-Old Girl Does Voice-Over for Mom’s Makeup Tutorial
Among the many other hilarious YouTube moments of late, we’ve heard a drunk guy narrate his girlfriend’s beauty tutorial — and even a dedicated dad give it a shot for his daughter. But the latest voice-over shtick is a must-see: It’s a superadorable video in which Yoshidoll (the nickname of YouTube beauty star Ellarie’s daughter) impressively walks viewers through each step of her mom’s electric-blue smoky eye.
Ellarie teased the video with an Instagram post: “Based on the amount of screenshots of this on Snapchat, I’m assuming y’all may want a tut on this next?!”

So while we knew a new tutorial was underway, we had no idea that the makeup maven’s daughter would play a key role in discussing her mom’s bold metallic blue eye shadow, glowing skin, and glossy pout.
The video opens with Ellarie acting out the words of Yoshidoll. She excitedly begins, “Hey guys, Yoshidoll here! Just kidding! But, I will be doing mommy’s voiceover for her makeup tutorial. Are you ready?! Let’s do this!”
When she gets into discussing how to get her mom’s eye look, the tiny narrator says, “Now I’m going to open up my kit and do this sparkly blue color. I’m going to blush it all over my eye, like eyeshadowy purple. It’s sorta like a purple color, but that’s all right. It’s going to look just like that one [referring to Ellarie’s other already colored eyelid].”
The beauty guru in the making goes on to say, “OK, now we’ll just put this brown stuff on this brush and blush it all on my face. I use this sometimes when I do makeup. OK, I put it all over my face to highlight the brown color in my skin. Blush, blush, blush all over my face. This is gonna be the best!”
Maybe Yoshidoll will be following in her mother’s footsteps. But whatever she decides to do, this is a kid who really seems to know her stuff. Go Yoshidoll! You are completely #adorbs.
