You’ve put in the hours at the gym—here’s where to show off the results.
As a kid, a hotel pool filled you with excitement—you couldn’t change into your swimsuit fast enough. These days it takes a bit more to inspire a dip, like breathtaking views or one-of-a-kind details. And that’s just what you’ll find at these scenic resorts, where the pool is a destination in itself. Bring along an effective water workout (find our favorite here) and you’ll be racing to make a splash this summer.

1. Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora
Thanks to a freeform shape inspired by waves—and palm trees that appear to grow out of the surrounding deck—the infinity pool at the Four Seasons Resort in Bora Bora seamlessly blends in with the turquoise ocean just beyond it. Swim a few laps, then have one of the attendants brings you a chilled towel.
2. Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa
Located on a 1,000-foot stretch of private beach, this is the only year-round resort on Montauk, NY. And even if you visit during a rainy or snowy weekend, you won’t miss out on that sea swim experience: The indoor pool offers panoramic views of the Atlantic and it’s filled with ocean water.
3. One Aldwych Hotel, London
As if the repetitive motion of doing laps weren’t enough to melt away city stress, the 56-foot pool at London’s One Aldwych Hotel also offers mood lighting and an underwater music system. You can make a splash as early as 6:30 in the morning, then hit the steam room or sauna afterward.
