The age of women who have the most body confidence may surprise you
As the spotlight shines on the Kardashians and Hadids, one would assume that women in their 20s and 30s are the most body confident among us.
But this isn’t so, according to the findings of a recent study, revealing that it’s actually women over 65 who are least worried about their bikini bodies.
Because, quite frankly, they have better things to think about.
A survey of 1,300 women conducted by U.K. fashion retailer M&Co found that 51 percent of women over 65 said they have more important life concerns than obtaining the dream bikini body, compared with 41 percent of women overall.

Meanwhile, 18- to 24-year-olds are the ones not flaunting themselves, with 56 percent admitting that they buy swimwear cover-ups to hide “problem areas.”
And 72 percent of 18- to 34-year-olds wouldn’t take a swimwear selfie.
Confidence seems to increase with age, as 46 percent of 55- to 64-year-olds said they had “more important life concerns” than the perfect body — a 5 percent decrease when compared with those over 65.
But at least there was this finding, about how women of all ages had their priorities straight: 85 percent said they wouldn’t give up their other halves for a year in exchange for their dream body.
Because, as the over-65 participants proved, there really are better things to worry about in life.
