Amber Rose Just Got the Craziest New Tattoo

Amber Rose is officially a Hollywood gal. The rapper turned designer debuted a wild new tattoo, permanently emblazoning her skin with the most well-known symbol of the celebrity-filled city.

“My new tattoo. Great job @nikkohurtado,” she captured a photo of her forearm, which is now entirely covered in a black-and-white tat of the famous Hollywood sign.

This ink is the latest addition to her already almost full sleeves, which include dogs, flowers, a marijuana leaf, a tube of lipstick, and several female faces.

Rose just split with her boyfriend of five months, Val Chmerkovskiy. And what do people do after big breakups? Make drastic changes, of course — like cutting their hair or, in Rose’s case, getting huge tattoos. Rose isn’t the only celebrity to make a major change postbreakup. Joe Jonas dyed his hair blue after splitting with Gigi Hadid, and Jemima Kirke chopped her hair off after splitting with her husband, Michael Mosberg.

So this could be a breakup coping mechanism, or maybe she just really loves the city where stars are born. Or she just loves to shock people — like that time she donned a very Marilyn Monroe-esque blond bob wig, surprising fans who were used to her closely cropped ’do.
