Body positivity is founded on self-love and inclusivity, which means it’s all about joy. And there’s a lot of joy from this catch phrase: “You can’t spell cellulite without U LIT.” Thanks to blogger @getfitjules, who shared the cheeky line alongside a very cheeky photo of herself — and her cellulite — on Instagram, the expression is taking off.

The post of Jules, who has 110,000 followers on Instagram, has already gotten more than 10,000 likes.

“There are a few things that drive me to share what I do on Instagram, but my biggest drive and motivation is that by doing what I do, by accepting my body and loving it the way that I do, I show other people that it’s OK to do the same,” Julie tells Yahoo Beauty of why she’s so candid with her images. “My posts not only help continue my own personal self-growth and self-love, but they help other people love and accept themselves!”

She explains that she doesn’t hide her body, “for those women (and men) who wear jeans and baggy clothes all year round because they’re afraid of judgment. I do it for the people who avoid mirrors and full body pictures. I do it for the ones who feel like they’ve had to hide themselves from the world because they don’t feel good enough.”

The comments are filled with notes from fans who say that the photos help them to feel more secure naked, so we’d say that Jules did her job well. “It makes me so happy to see you like that! I was always so scared to wear shorts and show my legs nude! Seeing you being so beautiful and happy and confident makes me want to wear them too!!!!” wrote karolina_rocky. Instagram user cas3ygetsfit agrees: “Wow …this is so inspiring to me….I’ve never worn shorts or skirts because I hate my big legs and cellulite…..wow I’m speechless…you are beautiful.”

Julie admits that while the response has been amazing, it’s also sometimes overwhelming. “So many women have reached out telling me that my posts help them love themselves more and more every day. It’s the best thing in the world to hear,” she says. Although there’s also the negative side of things: “People saying mean and hurtful things. (It says lot about their own insecurities, so I try to just block it out of my head.) I don’t understand what the big deal is, it’s just cellulite — if you don’t like it, you don’t have to look at it, you know? Let me love my body. Let me embrace it and share it with others. I’m not doing any harm; just trying to spread some light on positivity to those who need it.”

The “You can’t spell cellulite without U LIT” catch phrase has been around for some time, and it’s the perfect slogan for the body positive movement.

It’s a reminder of the importance of accepting both your body and the fact that your shape isn’t as important as, well, the rest of you. Now someone just needs to tell Ashley Graham.
