Chrissy Teigen’s Awesome Spray Tan TMI at the Billboard Music Awards

Leave it to Chrissy Teigen to not hold anything back. The always-candid Billboard Music Awards co-host, admitted to Giuliana Rancic that she had a spray tan mishap prepping for the show. Teigen proudly showed off her tan streaked hands to the camera when the host asked her what she did to look so amazing. “I got a spray tan the other night which is now on my palms,” Teigen laughed, before adding. “It matches John’s hands as well because he was touching my breasts apparently in the middle of the night.” Her husband, John Legend joked, "That’s what happens when married couples sleep together.“

Teigen loves to reveal the messy truth, and laugh about it. She’s always honest about the behind-the-scenes reality of what it takes to look gorgeous. Teigen recently won over countless new fans when she posted an Instagram shot showing off her stretch marks. She later revealed to Meredith Vieira, that she thought posting retouched images of herself on social media would do disservice to other women. “I have those apps, the Facetune and Photoshopping ones, and I just didn’t feel like doing it anymore and I’m never doing it again, because I think we forget what normal people look like now,” Teigen said. “The standard is so ridiculous. It’s gotten to the point where they’re not just smoothing their skin anymore, they’re actually changing the shape of their body.”

Teigen stressed the fact that she knows what other models really look like, and the reality is not what shows up on the pages of a magazine. “It started with Botox and everything, of course, but now it’s just grown into this Photoshop phenomenon and I’ve seen these women in person, they are not like that,” says Teigen.
We can’t wait to hear what else Teigen has to say at tonight’s awards. Choosing to pair her up as co-host with Ludacris is an awesome choice.
