You probably know Christina Grimmie from her third place finish on NBC’s The Voice in 2014 or maybe you’re one of her 2.9 million YouTube followers. Either way, the singer-songwriter is someone you want to know. Her newest single, “Cliche,” is out now and she’s gearing up to take the stage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in September. We caught up with the rising star to get the scoop on her summer beauty routine, her love of piña coladas and her favorite vacation destination.
When hitting the beach, I always bring… my iPod.
The scent I spray on is… Dove Body Mist in pomegranate.
I usually wear my hair… Down and straight, or down and wavy. I like to use BigSexyHair Power Play to grit up the texture.
My toes are painted with… Light blue, glossy polish. I love OPI.
On a night out I sip on… a macchiato.
I always have in my summer clutch… Credit card and a Pokémon card (for good luck).
Warm weather lip color… Light pink or nude from Laura Mercier.
Spray it on or keep it real? Real, for sure.
Margarita or piña colada? Piña Colada!
Bikini or one-piece? Bikini
Beach or pool? That’s really tough — it depends. As far as swimming goes, pool. Hanging out, the beach.
Favorite vacation destination? Cancun
