Dior's New Makeup Idea May Be Its Coolest Yet
It’s been almost a year since Peter Philips was tapped as creative and image director of Christian Dior makeup. And what a year it’s been—the multi-talented makeup artist has sent models down the runway with strips of fabric instead of liner and cat eyes like we’ve never seen them before. (And even that’s just skimming the surface.)
The makeup look at last night’s Dior pre-fall show in Tokyo was equally exciting. Models boasted fresh complexions and bold, graphic eyes topped with a small strip of sequins on the center edge of lids. Circular braids made for earring-like accents that offset the look.
Needless to say, we’ve been itching to take a closer peek at this pretty and playful take on the traditional graphic eye. And so, since we couldn’t quite make it to Tokyo, we took to Instagram to get our fill. Click through for our favorite backstage beauty shots.
