Get the Look: Eniko Parrish Hart’s Wedding Hair

Model Eniko Parrish tied the knot with actor Kevin Hart last weekend, in Santa Barbara, Calif. The couple celebrated their love in front of 200 family and friends, with Hart’s son, Hendryx, serving as best man.

Parrish looked stunning in two custom Vera Wang gowns. And complementing both gowns were two unique hair looks. Mizani global artistic director César Ramirez styled Parrish, and he’s sharing her hair secrets with us.

“Wedding day is by far recognized as one of life’s most important and memorable days,” Ramirez tells Yahoo Beauty. “Therefore, being a part of the bride’s glam team is a lot of pressure. Eniko was a dream bride. She was calm, easy going, and naturally beautiful. We quickly discussed two simple looks to pair with her two gorgeous dresses.”

For the formal ceremony, Eniko wore her hair down and wavy.

Starting on dry hair, Ramirez applied a few small pumps of Mizani Foam Wrap to build volume at the roots. Next, Ramirez used a One Styling blow dryer and fingered comb to create body and movement all over while drying the Mizani Foam Wrap he previously applied. This creates a nice, naturally messy texture.

Once Parrish’s hair was dry, Ramirez clipped in small wefts of Indique Pure Wavy hair.

“After I achieved the fullness I wanted, I cut her [hair extensions] into a long bob using my Karg K-Wide shears, which are great for dry cutting,” he says.

Ramirez then used a flatiron to add texture and define the wave so that the added hair blended with Parrish’s own hair and sprayed each layer with Mizani HRM Humidity Resistant Mist to make sure the look lasted through the humid summer weather.

“As a celebrity stylist, it very important to be able to work under pressure,” Ramirez says of Parrish’s reception look. “My change-over time was cut short, but I was prepared and able to go into look two in five minutes.”

With the texture already set, Ramirez parted Parrish’s hair into three sections, starting with the front, followed by the back, and then left and right.

He made the back section into a French twist using hairpins to keep it in place and then pinned back each side into the twist.

He pulled out the fringe area and also extracted random pieces to create a messy finish. Finally, he sprayed for a light hold.
