From Jack Sparrow to Christian Dior: Johnny Depp is the New Face of Dior Parfums

Coming on the heels of Dior’s announcement of actress Jennifer Lawrence as the new face of the Dior Addict makeup line, the French fashion house has added another celeb to their beauty roster: Johnny Depp. The award-winning actor’s career spans decades, but this is the first time that he will appear as the face of a men’s fragrance.
The first campaign featuring the 51-year-old Depp will debut in September alongside the launch of the House of Dior’s new men’s fragrance, created by legendary perfumer François Demachy who has worked with Dior since 2006. The launch of the fragrance is said to be the first of its kind from the house in ten years.
Actors Robert Pattinson, Jamie Dornan, and Jude Law have all fronted past Dior fragrance campaigns. While Depp has played many great roles in the past, this might become the new favorite for beauty fans.
Update: The first video teaser for Sauvage, the new fragrance, has debuted. It will be available in stores on September 2, 2015.
