Fashion-forward couple Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik kicked off another year of relationship goals with an adorable Instagram. Malik posted the sweet double pic of the pair to his account Tuesday afternoon, and while the inarguably adorable couple is front and center, the star of the image might be the singer’s thick, dark hair.

In the photo, Hadid stands behind Malik with her eyes peeking out over his head while her fingers play with his mop top, pulling the bangs on his forehead up and back while they both smile sweetly. Is Hadid going to trim his hair? Is she merely enjoying the scent of his shampoo? (“What does it smell like?” a lost generation of One Directioners asks.) These answers remain mysteries, but regardless, Hadid and Malik appear all sort of at-home comfortable, dressed down in a basic long-sleeve top and hooded sweatshirt, respectively.
The Internet has collectively swooned over the high-profile couple’s first social media post of 2017; in less than a day, the Insta has racked up more than 2 million likes, and a barrage of ZiGi-shipping fans have filled up the comment section with compliments, including, “The cutest things ALIVE,” “I love Zigi,” “goalsss,” and a plethora of heart emoji.
