It was the floppy hair ‘do that made tween girls (and their mamas) swoon and it looks like Justin Bieber just got it back. “Hello old bieber hair I got it back lol,” he wrote on Instagram on Tuesday, re-debuting the silky skater-boy-meets-helmet style that many boys, and girls, have tried to copy.

Bieber first abandoned his signature hairstyle in February 2011 while he was shooting a video with Rascal Flatts. He Tweeted, “yeah so it’s true…i got a lil haircut…i like it…and we are giving all the hair cut to CHARITY to auction. Details coming soon.”

Since then, perhaps in efforts to keep up his “mature” look, the 21-year-old has dyed his hair platinum blonde, sculpted a pompadour, and played with his fair share of styling products. Maybe Biebs has finally gotten sick of trying different looks and realized that you can’t mess with perfection? We’ll be keeping an eye on his selfies.
