Julianne Hough's Latest 'Do Will Forever Change the Way You See Perms
When we hear the word "perm," our minds automatically go to Meg Ryan in When Harry Met Sally and everything else '80s-related. But as Julianne Hough just proved with her latest hairstyle, perms can do much more than yield big, voluminous ringlets.
In recent Instagram posts, the Dancing with the Stars judge revealed that her new beach waves were the result of a different kind of perm that uses Olapex, the strengthening product many stylists apply to make hair stronger after it's color-treated. From what Julianne captioned in her posts, it sounds like her stylists at Nine Zero One salon mixed Olapex with perm lotion to create more relaxed waves. And their experiment, as you can see, totally paid off:
