In case you haven't heard, the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, spent a couple of days in the United States this week. As is typically the case, her every move was well-documented—no surprise there. Less typical, however, was the range of hairstyles she showed off in a 48-hour period. Sure, Middleton wore her go-to bouncy blowout, but she also showed off a variety of 'dos while in New York City.

And surprisingly, these styles aren't elaborate. Instead, they rely on a quality blowout that can be easily tweaked for a new look. "I'm sure she has a stylist with her the whole time, but a lot of these looks definitely do seem like they could be done by her," observes Tyson Kennedy, senior stylist at Cutler salon in New York City.
