Katie Holmes Debuts New Fringed Hairstyle

Katie Holmes has never been one to shy away from experimenting with her beauty look, so it wasn’t surprising when the actress debuted a new fringed hairstyle on Good Morning America on Tuesday in New York City.

With her hair still long — just ironed very, very straight — she added choppy bangs to switch up her ’do. This isn’t the first time the 37-year-old has rocked bangs; she stuck with the look for much of the late 2000s and even sported a bob with blunt bangs at one point. Upon closer inspection, it appears Holmes was wearing a wig on GMA. Considering the actress has worn many different wig styles in the past, it’s quite possible she was testing out the look.

For the 2015 Met Gala, the actress tricked fans into thinking she got a dramatic cut when she wore a dark brown bob with bangs.

Before the event, Holmes had a little fun with her fans, posting Instagram videos of herself getting what looked like a rather unusual haircut.

“Dare me,” she captioned one image of herself doing a handstand as a stylist held scissors to her hair.

The mother of one has been busy promoting her latest project, her directorial debut in All We Had, so it will be interesting to see what other looks she unveils and if the cut is real or not.
