Kendall and Kylie Jenner Twin in Topknots at Golden Globes Afterparty

Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s looks for NBCUniversal’s 74th Golden Globes afterparty were sort of symbolic of their relationship. They wore drastically different gowns, shoes, and jewelry, but one detail was identical: their hair.

This mirrored their sisterhood: the sisters, who are two years apart, have very different personalities and style, but in small ways they are very similar.

From the chin up, they were practically twinning, thanks to sleek topknots and middle parts. They both also wore stud earrings; Kylie’s were diamond, however, while Kendall’s were morganite. Aside from that tiny detail, their twinning hairstyles were totally appropriate for a supersweet (while totally glamorous) “sister date,” as Kylie called it on Instagram.

Just as their personalities diverge, so do their looks from the neck down. Kylie wore a floor-length silver gown with a turtleneck but an illusion neckline panel between her collarbone and breasts. The neckline stretched across her shoulders and had a plunging V showing off her cleavage. For a conservative flourish, the dress featured long sleeves. But it also had a thigh-high slit. It’s a custom-made piece by LaBourjoisie, the Kuwaiti-based fashion house, according to the Daily Mail.

The only similarities between Kylie’s and Kendall’s gowns were their length and that superhigh slit. Kendall’s copper strapless Paule Ka gown had a ruched bodice and gathered skirt. She accessorized the look with matching snakeskin heels and layers upon layers of glittery chokers.

Just like regular sisters, the Jenner girls have a penchant for matching. In September, the girls got matching Ferrari Spiders, or, as Kylie calls them, “Sister Spiders!” At Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3 show, the girls matched with their older sister Kim in monochromatic beige shades, courtesy of Yeezy. Then, of course, there was the time everyone thought Kendall got lip injections just like her younger sis, but Kylie nipped those rumors in the bud by explaining that Kendall simply let Kylie overline her lips. Still, they were twinning in Kylie’s signature lip look.

Oh, and there was one other accessory they both enjoyed at the Golden Globes afterparty: pizza.
