Kylie Jenner Is Coming Out With a Lip Kit

Is there a way to get pouty lips like Kylie Jenner without going the injection route like she did? The youngest Kardashian is hinting that there is. Jenner posted an Instagram photo of herself in a fully contoured face and matte brown lips. “Brown lips #KylieLipKit stay tuned,” she captioned the image. An hour later, her BFF and celebrity makeup artist Hrush Achemyan Instagrammed a closeup of her look: “Montreal Nights with @kyliejenner lippy coming soon #kylielipkit #styledbyhrush.” Her publicist tells Yahoo Beauty that the product line is currently in development.
Following in the steps of her big sisters’ eponymous haircare line, it only makes sense that Jenner would bank on her most well-known asset. Her upcoming website, KylieJenner.com, has yet to be launched, but she’s promised it will be full of her beauty advice.
Jenner recently admitted to lip fillers, but even without injections, her lip look takes maintenance. On Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Scott Disick once said, “Have you seen her do her lipstick? It takes like 40 minutes and then she like pulls one lip, pushes one out. I don’t understand why everybody thinks it’s so cute to duck [your lips] out!” Older sister Kim Kardashian West once told Pixiwoo, “[Jenner] only wears a lip liner and fills it in. She doesn’t wear a lipstick or a gloss.” Jenner did once tell Nip+Fab that she owns at least 10 different nude shades, though. The matte brown shade that she’s debuting on Instagram is bold but luxuriously velvet-y — exactly how we imagine all of Jenner’s future lip products to be.
