Long before tasty LipSmackers there was Kissing Potion — flavored roll-on lipgloss in Great Grape, Passion Punch, Orange Squeeze, and Root Beer Float.

Maybe it’s Madonna? Nope, just a lookalike model in an ad capitalizing on the world’s coolest star of the decade. “For the ‘Madonna look,’ use all four colors from the new Fresh Violets Collection shading from darkest on the lids to lightest under brows,” the ad suggests.
