Miley Cyrus Shows Off Her First Pimple of 2017
Coming from a heavy holiday season full of delicious comfort food and lots of nonvirgin drinks, many of us are experiencing the aftereffects of overindulging come full swing out on our faces. Whether it is a weird skin flush or a random breakout, it happens. That’s life. Celebrities who have everything from access to the most luxurious lotions and potions to on-demand top dermatologists aren’t exempt from the post-New Year skin wars either. Singer Miley Cyrus just proved it to us by sharing her first pimple of 2017.
In a selfie pointing to a pimple on her forehead, she wrote, “I deserve it. Too much pizza. Not enough water. #firstpimpleof2017.”

Aside from the 24-year-old’s latest pimple preview, the rest of her skin looks pretty smooth. She actually makes the rest of us feel pretty normal for showing off her relatable #firstpimpleof2017 Insta-photo.
A few commenters responded:
“Been there before. I feel your pain!”
“I got one in the same place”
“I love you for this”
To avoid any brutal breakouts and rejuvenate your skin for the New Year, there are three key things to keep in mind. Diet, plenty of water, and a consistent routine. Greasy foods and too much sugar and dairy can wreak havoc on your skin. Try to maintain a nutrient-rich diet full of foods containing vitamins such as C and A. Additionally, drink your eight glasses a day, and alternate a glass of water with every alcoholic drink. Last but not least, your topical care routine should remain consistent. If you want to see real positive change in your skin, you have to stick to a daily ritual. Switching it up too much will only aggravate your skin. Keep it simple and set yourself up for success!
