One Girl Becomes 7 Disney Princesses [Video]

Disney has raised generations of girls who fantasize about becoming a princess, but as we age the idea of landing that perfect fairy tale ending doesn’t seem quite as easy as it did in the cartoons. Never one to give up on the dream, Disney gave their hair and makeup artists what they call the ultimate challenge: transforming one model into seven Disney princesses all in one afternoon. The results, filmed in warp-speed time lapse, are actually kind of awesome. Not that we’re ready to step out of the house looking like Ariel from The Little Mermaid, but it’s always fun to see a realistic interpretation of Disney’s most iconic characters. Check out the video clip to see all seven makeovers.

  1. The first transformation is into Belle from Beauty and the Beast. She wears bright pink lipstick, gold earrings, and her hair in a half-up style with a bun adorned with a yellow ribbon.

  2. Next up is Rapunzel from Tangled, which translates to lilac eyeshadow, pale pink gloss, and her long signature blond braid filled with flowers.

  3. For her third look, the model is transformed into Elsa from Frozen, with her hair sprayed an icy silver and pulled into a loose French braid. She’s also given a more intense purple smoky eye and fuchsia lips.

  4. Next is Ariel from The Little Mermaid, which means cartoonishly red hair with sideswept bangs and cascading light waves and matching red lipstick.

  5. To look like Princess Jasmine from Aladdin, the model is given ‘40s-style victory rolls to her hair on the sides, which is pulled into a ponytail and adorned with a blue jeweled crown. Cat-eye liner, pale lavender shadow, bright pink lipstick, and gold drop earrings complete the look.

  6. For Snow White’s sweet look, the models hair was pulled into a faux bob and decorated with a red bow. For makeup she was given pale gray shadow, tons of mascara, and juicy red lipstick.

  7. Lastly, the model was given a Pocahontas makeover, a lovely natural look with sleek straight hair, filled-in brows, a flesh-toned lipstick, and a little liner and mascara.

Maybe becoming a princess isn’t so hard after all.
