Photographer Is Changing Special-Needs Kids’ Lives One Picture at a Time
Photographer Stephanie Smith wanted to use her talent and skill to help brighten kids’ lives. It all started when she heard about another photographer who refused to shoot for a child with Down syndrome, and it broke her heart.
“These kids deserve to be loved and looked at equally,” Smith explains.
After launching her effort to share her time with families with special-needs kids on Facebook, the requests wouldn’t stop coming in. Now, her group Lenses for Love connects over 250 families around the country and 100 willing photographers.
