Paris Hilton Rocked a Crown Braid That’s Easy to Copy
Crown braids — there’s really no right or wrong way to rock them. Whether you are playing up your hairstyle for an evening event or keeping it casual for a Saturday morning stroll, a crown braid is one of those go-to looks that never go out of style.
On Tuesday, Paris Hilton was caught stylishly sporting a cute crown braid in Beverly Hills. The only difference was that she added low knots near the back of her neck, which gives the traditional crown braid a chic twist.
Hilton coupled her blonde braided ’do with a pair of blue and black sunglasses and natural makeup, making her entire outfit easy, breezy, and beautiful.
The 35-year-old businesswoman and socialite shared an adorable photo at the dentist’s office playing with her tiny puppy, and followers got a better glimpse of her braided hairstyle.

Hilton’s double-knotted crown braid is easy to do but not completely effortless to create without proper direction. On average, it should take roughly 10 minutes to style.
To re-create, begin by parting hair down the center and brushing through to detangle. Next, part the lower back of your hair into two sections. Secure with creaseless hair ties and leave a section of hair out on either the left or right side (depending on which way you would like your braid to wrap around). Take each ponytail and twist into buns. Set in place with bobby pins. Complete by three-strand braiding the remaining hair (gently loosen the braid if you desire more volume). Pull the braid over to the opposite side, tucking and pinning underneath the closest hair bun.
If that’s too much work, you can always throw on Hair2wear’s Christy Brinkley Collection Thick Braid headband over your two knots, and almost instantly you will get the same affect.
