People Have a Lot to Say About Beyoncé's Never-Ending Ponytail

Nearly a month after Beyoncé scored the title of Style Icon at the 2016 CFDA Awards, she has apparently set her sights on something new: achieving the most epic ponytail imaginable. The singer is currently on her Formation World Tour and has been experimenting with looks along the way, but we think she might have just landed our favorite. Queen Bey’s plaited ponytail of legendary length debuted on July 12 at her Dusseldorf, Germany show, and the world has yet to stop talking about it.

This isn’t the first time that the 34-year-old has gotten attention for her ’do: Remember her Met Gala 2015 look when the ponytail came to fruition? And although the side pony may now seem more wearable than her newest look, there’s no doubt that this woman slays.

Bey’s ponytail has been called it all on social media, from a “helicopter” to a “weapon of mass destruction.” But like the singer once famously told us, “Pat your weave, ladies.” Or, in this case: Swing your braid.
