Sanaa Lathan wants to find out if blondes have more fun
Sanaa Lathan is giving us major J.Lo vibes with her new blond hair. In a new Instagram post and story the actor shared the process of changing up her dark brown curls to straightened blond locks.
Lathan switched up her look for a starring role in the upcoming Netflix film Nappily Ever After. Based on the best-selling book, the film follows a woman who seems to have the perfect life. However, things start to unravel after an accident at a hair salon and soon she realizes that she hasn’t been living life to the fullest.
The Shots Fired star documented every step of her trip from brown to blond on her Instagram stories, and if you’ve ever spent the whole day in a salon making a major change, you’re going to be feeling these photos. And, based on the plot of the movie, we suspect this isn’t the first change-up we’ll be seeing from the talented beauty.
Lathan showed off her natural “before” look.
Then, the bleaching began. This is the part that can hurt, but Lathan looks like she’s enjoying the process.
