Stock Your Vanity at These Nashville Destinations

It turns out, there is a lot more to Nashville than country music and hot chicken. As someone who had never been to Music City before, I was excited to discover three cool shops where I was able to get my beauty fix. If you’ve got a trip planned, make sure these spots are on your to-do list (and leave a little extra room in your suitcase on the way home).

The must-visit denim store located in an old service station has grown to become about more than just really good jeans (although, if you are in the market for a pair of custom denim, this is the only place you need to go). A wall filled with signature Aesop products will greet you upon entering, and you’ll also find incense, cozy tees, delicate jewelry, and Imogene + Willie’s signature scented candle amongst the wares. Trust me, you’ll want your home to smell exactly like the shop once you step inside.

Just down the street from Imogene + Willie is Cadeau, a gift shop filled with Jonathan Adler tchotchkes, sweet smelling candles, and cool books. In the beauty department, Cadeau stocks a wide range of natural beauty products from Little Barn Apothecary. I recommend picking up a bottle of the Cucumber + Mint Cooling Mineral Mist and the Coffee + Mint Body Scrub. For the moms-to-be out there, check out the shop’s selection of Zoe Organics, an organic line of skin care products that are safe for use during pregnancy.

Wilder is one of those shops that you want to live inside from the moment you walk in the door. It’s filled with everything from sculptures and woven wall hangings to pillows and ceramics. Of course, they’ve also got you covered in the beauty department. You’ll find Apoteker Perfumes, a range of earthy scents in perfect minimal bottles, shaving oil from Blackbird, a Seattle based brand, and face, hair, and body oils from F. Miller that are so good, they give Rodin a run for its money.
