Watch This Makeup Artist Magically Paint ‘Beauty and the Beast’ on Her Chest
If you think repainting that hard-to-reach corner in your bathroom is nerve-racking, you might feel just as, if not more, intimidated by Georgina Ryland‘s skills.
Ryland is an award-winning makeup artist from Brisbane, Australia — and there is a pretty clear reason for her acclaim. She paints incredible scenes onto her body that are truly works of art. For her latest creation, she painted a classic movie scene from Beauty and the Beast on her chest, and it’s nothing short of amazing!
During her less than three-minute video, Ryland demonstrates how she (seemingly effortlessly) turns her chest into one of the most enchanted moments shared by Belle and the Beast, looking deeply into each other’s eyes while dancing the night away.
Ryland begins by drawing the outline of the picture with white paint. Then she shades inside the lines and adds the necessary details to bring it all together using richly pigmented blues, golds, blacks, browns, and specks of white. Her eyelids are shaded gold and blue as well.
When sharing the result on Instagram, Ryland wrote, “Goodness my paints of recent have been taking so long. This was a crazy one too; I finished at 2:30am after a 6ish hour paint and was utterly exhausted. But yeah, a little late Beauty and the Beast homage! I should have a timelapse up tomorrow (depending on if my power comes back! It’s flooding here in Brisbane.”
Among many other comments on Instagram, one person wrote, “Of course you were exhausted! It’s not like you can walk away from the canvas for awhile. Man! You’re magical!”
