Dry shampoo is one of the best beauty inventions to hit the 21st century, and I’ve become so dependent on it that I keep it at my desk, in my purse, and on my vanity table. Nothing lifts you up like a quick hair touch up. That said, when I first started using dry shampoo, I had no idea how much to apply or where to spray, so I usually over-sprayed at my roots, leaving visible white residue in broad daylight. “Why’s your hair gray?” my friends would ask, before #GrannyHair became trendy. I’d anxiously run my hands through my hair a couple times, hoping to disperse the powder buildup.
