I really don’t like to blow dry my hair. Even when the temps outside hoover near freezing I try to avoid it by waking up early and allowing myself extra air-dry time in the comfort of my apartment. So of course, in the summer, I refuse to pick up my blow dryer. I’m lucky in the regard that my hair dries relatively quickly but I always feel that it’s lacking volume and body — and no matter how much sea salt spray I work in (and let me tell you, it’s a lot), it is still missing something. Since I refuse to believe it’s just the way my hair is, I’m constantly looking for new products that will make my mane look more like a Victoria’s Secret Angel after a day at the beach. Well, I found one.
Bumble and bumble’s Don’t Blow It ($30) is for every blow dryer adverse girl (and guy) out there. You apply the lightweight cream to towel dried hair, working it through from roots to ends by scrunching and twisting. Then you just let your hair dry. (Okay, if you’re me, you still apply some salt spray). That’s it. My hair is shinier, bouncier, and really just a whole lot better than when I let it dry without this magic product’s assistance. Oh, and it’s packed with UVA and UVB filters to help protect your pretty head from the sun.
