5 Birthday Wishes for Kylie Jenner on Her 19th Birthday
Choosing a gift for millionaire Kylie Jenner is tough. The item has to be celebrity-worthy (hello, Maybach), but it also has to translate well on Instagram. Just as importantly, it has to be unique, something that she doesn’t own yet. Talk about pressure!
So, as the youngest Kardashian/Jenner sister turns 19 on Aug. 10, Yahoo Celebrity is sending her five birthday wishes — that she can’t unwrap. Happy birthday, Kylie!
A boyfriend who can afford her
Jenner’s social media handle is King Kylie, which is fitting since she definitely lives like royalty. The cosmetics mogul’s current boyfriend, Tyga, seems to understand that, publicly showering her with expensive gifts, such as the $200,000 Maybach he surprised the car collector with for her birthday this year — or the Ferrari he gave her when she turned 18 last year. However, TMZ reports that he’s struggling mightily to pay the bills. In her 19th year, perhaps Mariah Carey‘s billionaire fiancé James Packer can introduce Kylie to one of his friends — or one of their sons.
A staff of world-class dog walkers
Kylie’s love of dogs — especially her own pooches, Norman, Bambi, Ernie, and Penny — is well documented in the forum she knows best: social media. But as much as she adores passing the time with her many pets, she’s often away from home for photo shoots, red carpet galas, and exotic getaways. She definitely needs someone she can trust to take good care of her adorable brood. … Hey, maybe Tyga can do it for some extra cash?
A college education
Even though Kylie apparently spends her buckets of money on old-school ramen noodles (with questionable toppings), she isn’t a college student. The homeschooled teen, who announced that she had earned her high school diploma in July 2015, declared that she wasn’t going to college in December. “I have done everything to prepare for college, so if I wanted to in the future, I could go at any time,” she told Interview. “But I’m not planning on going anytime soon.” After all, in her own words, she just wants to be a businesswoman. Too bad colleges and universities can’t teach her anything about that!
Fewer problems with her cosmetics empire
Jenner’s most prominent business at the moment, Kylie Cosmetics, has been phenomenally successful at driving demand. People want her lip kits so badly that they snap them up as soon as they go on sale. The problem the venture has faced, though, is satisfying customers, many of whom never received their packages or had other issues with delivery. The Better Business Bureau initially rated it an “F,” but it has since changed the grade to a “C.” Better, but still not great.
Camera-free bonding time with the family
Kylie herself said 2016 would be the year of “realizing stuff,” remember? Well, with the first half of the year over, she could use few things more than some quiet time with her family. Like all families, they have their issues. There’s the Puma deal that infuriated her older sister Kim Kardashian and her husband, Kanye West, because of his line with competitor Adidas. There’s tension about Rob Kardashian’s relationship with Blac Chyna, Caitlyn Jenner’s gender transition, and Kris Jenner’s management of all her daughters. A night of respite from the celebrity life, perhaps to celebrate a certain birthday, with no selfies or social media posts allowed, and no Keeping Up With the Kardashians cameras in sight could be relaxing, no?
OK, so maybe that last one is really our wish for ourselves.
