Bella Thorne Further Describes Her Mysterious Hollywood Mean Girl
Bella Thorne isn’t letting that mysterious Hollywood mean girl off the hook.
In November, the 18-year-old actress described her nemesis to Seventeen magazine: “She’s in the business, and she’s very, very mean. I stay away from her at all costs. I never say hello to her,” she said. “One of the reasons I don’t like her is because she’s been a billionaire since she was very little, and she’s never had to work for anything in her life.”
On Wednesday, the Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip star sat down with HuffPost Live and while she didn’t reveal the identity of the girl, she did elaborate on her comments. “You know, there’s a little part that’s missing in there. It’s not, ‘I hate her because she’s a billionaire.’ It’s, 'I don’t like her because she is a billionaire and makes sure everyone knows that she is,’ which is like, you know, I didn’t grow up with money or anything like that. And even if I did, I’m not very much like that. But it’s not necessarily about one person.”
Bella continued to emphasize that her issue isn’t with the girl’s wealth but rather how she carries herself. “If somebody wasn’t flaunting it in a mean way to make other people feel bad about themselves, then I would not mind it,” she said. “It would be, 'Go, girl! You do you. Good for you. I’m happy that you have a great life.’ It’s when people do it in certain types of ways that make you not appreciate them as much.”

If you’re assuming that Thorne is talking about Kendall or Kylie Jenner, think again. The former Disney Channel star denied it back in November, tweeting, “I adore the Jenner girls especially @KylieJenner.”
Bella later explained why she spoke out in Seventeen, revealing that she wanted young girls who are being bullied to know that they aren’t alone. “It’s in Hollywood, too. It doesn’t change like that. Our life is not so overly glamorous. It’s exactly what you’re going through, but there’s photos taken of it,” she said. “And that’s kind of the difference. So, it’s about bullying.”
