In the Baldwin family, healing comes from humor. Ireland Baldwin has clearly gotten over the voicemail heard 'round the world in 2007, in which her father, Alec, called her a "rude, thoughtless pig."

On Instagram, Ireland posted a photo of she and her father reading If I Were a Pig..., which most certainly belongs to one of Alec's young children, Carmen, 1, or Rafael, 1 month. Baldwin captioned the photo, "If I Were A Pig... I would be Rude and Thoughtless of course!"

In 2007, while in the middle of a custody dispute with his ex and Ireland's mother Kim Basinger, Alec Baldwin left a searing message for Ireland who was, at the time, 11 years old. Alec was upset that Ireland had not picked up the phone, despite a scheduled call, saying, "You don't have the brains or the decency as a human being." In one of the voicemails more laugh-to-keep-yourself-from-crying moments, Baldwin also said, "I don't give a damn that you're 12 years old, or 11 years old, or that you're a child, or that your mother is a thoughtless pain in the ass who doesn't care about what you do as far as I'm concerned. Once again I have made an ass of myself trying to get to a phone. You have humiliated me for the last time with this phone."

Alec also shared a similar photo of the two reading the book with the caption, "...I'd be rude and thoughtless. That's the only pig to be."

Ireland is currently spending time with her father and stepmother, Hilaria Baldwin, in the Hamptons. The 19 year old, who grew up an only child, is clearly thrilled to have a pair of siblings.

Here's to healing and to leaving the temper tantrums to the actual babies.
