Paul Walker's Daughter Joins Social Media to Ward Off Impostors
There is just one @MeadowWalker.
The 15-year-old daughter of the late Paul Walker has officially joined Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. And while we may start seeing a flurry of selfies soon (par for the course for teens), she actually signed up for another reason: to thwart off phonies pretending to be her.
"To combat the imposter profiles, #TeamPW has created 3 official profiles for @meadowwalker," it was announced Sunday night on Paul Walker's official social media accounts, which are still updated by his team.
It went on to explain where to find Walker's sole heir on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and the announcement was made along with the photo of the father and daughter. The sweet black-and-white pic is of them seated side by side staring at each other. The movie star, who died in a fiery car crash over Thanksgiving weekend, has his arm around the girl.
Meadow's profile photos on all three accounts are the same: It's a throwback snapshot of her as a wee little one. Her hair is a lighter hue and wavier, and she's sticking out her tongue.
In just 12 hours, Meadow has racked up 108,363 likes on Facebook, 10,800 followers on Twitter, and 27,078 followers on Instagram — despite not posting anything.
Needless to say, it's been a difficult five months since Meadow lost her father. She had been living with her mom, the actor's ex-girlfriend Rebecca Soteros, at Paul's mother Cheryl's home in Santa Barbara, California. In March, Cheryl made a bid for guardianship of Meadow, who stands to inherit Paul's $16 million–plus estate, citing Soteros's "drinking problem" as the reason. (Soteros has been arrested twice for DUI.) However, Cheryl officially dropped her court bid last Thursday. The family will be in court again later this month.

Meadow isn't the only member of the Walker family to make headlines for something on social media. On Monday, Vin Diesel posted a photo of himself with Paul's brothers, Caleb and Cody, presumably on the set of "Fast & Furious 7." It was recently announced that the pair would be stepping in to finish the late star's unfinished action film, which is set to hit theaters in April 2015.
"When I heard the news, I left the production, grabbed a plane, and took my family and Michelle [Rodriguez] back to LA [where I] drove directly to his parent's house," Vin Diesel wrote on Facebook along with the photo of Walker's siblings. "His Father said, Paul loved you Vin... I awkwardly and nervously said, aw come on… then he said... you don't have to get along every second to love each other... so true. P.s. After spending time with his biological brothers, I must say to the parents, you raised some great kids."

On Saturday, fellow "Fast & Furious" star Ludacris posted a photo of himself with Tyrese on the set in Dubai. In the background of the Instagram photo was Cody. However, almost as quickly as the photo went up, it was deleted by Ludacris. There was no explanation as to why it was removed.
Expect more photos of the brothers with the "F&F" crew to trickle out. It's no doubt an emotional thing for everyone involved..
