Exactly two years after Paul Walker was killed in a car accident, his co-stars in the Fast & Furious films shared touching tributes to him on social media.

Tyrese Gibson confessed that he continues to mourn Walker, who died at 40 while leaving a charity event in a Los Angeles suburb. Walker was the passenger in a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT driven by his friend, Roger Rodas, who was also killed in the crash.

“It’s still not easy…… 2 years ago today… We lost our brother…..” Tyrese lamented on Instagram. "Today I’m just gonna lay low and process….. Clarity through Prayers and perspective is what I always seek and pray for…. With a heavy heart I post this….. Please continue to pray for the Walker family and his real friends who was with him every single day…. They’re some of the best and strongest people I know…… I know you’re in heaven smiling and rooting for us all….. #RIH ( Rest in heaven )“

"The largest part of his power was latent. This is that which we call Character,-a reserved force which acts directly by presence, and without means.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson #paulwalkerforever,“ she wrote beside a close-up of her former leading man.

Vin Diesel also gave a nod to Walker with a picture quote.

Among other tributes to Walker in the past two years, Diesel named his daughter Pauline when she was born in March.

Walker’s 17-year-old daughter, Meadow, has also worked hard to keep her father’s memory alive since his unexpected death. She launched the Paul Walker Foundation to provide grants and scholarships to researchers and students working in the field of marine science education — a subject important her father — on September 12, which would have been his 42nd birthday.

The most recent Fast movie showed Walker’s character opting out of the car-racing lifestyle, but many other members of the cast are expected to reunite for the next installment in 2017.
