Maybe Justin Bieber should stick to a script more often. The pop star is one of many celebrities who landed a $uper Bowl commercial, and while, yes, he’s still sporting those annoying geek-chic glasses, he otherwise comes off as charming, which is a nice change.

The Biebs, 22, left the pimp coat at home and suited up in tux for the T-Mobile spot, in which the Canadian — who was billed as a “celebration expert” — walks viewers through the history of the touchdown celebration in the all-American sport. It featured cameos by New England Patriots’ Rob Gronkowski and retired NFL star turned reality star Terrell Owens as well as a little tween dancer who seemed to impress even the “Sorry” singer himself.

While we don’t predict any Oscars in his future (it’s OK — he’s got his Grammy… and maybe a few more next weekend), he came off as largely likable while doing some basic acting 101.

At the end, he shows off his #UnlimitedMoves (product tie-in!) with a few silly dance steps — probably none of which we’ll see when the “Purpose World Tour” picks back up Feb. 15 in Mexico.

While the Biebs loves hockey and has pretty good game on the court, he is an NFL fan and will likely be Houston-bound for the Super Bowl on Sunday. Let’s hope his manners are better than they were when he headed to the big game in 2014. That’s when he — and his dad, Jeremy — were “extremely abusive” to a flight attendant as their private jet flew from Canada to New Jersey and the plane was so full of marijuana smoke that the pilots were forced to wear oxygen masks.

But, hey, maybe he really is growing up.
