Lady Gaga Jokes She Won’t ‘Throw a Party’ if Former Fiancé Taylor Kinney Starts Dating Someone New
Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney had anything but a bad romance, and that sure explains their conscious uncoupling.
The singer opened up about her former fiancé on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show on Monday, saying that she and Kinney share an unconditional support for one another.
“I hate to sound like a hippie, but I kind of am one and so is he. We love each other, that’s it,” Gaga, 30, tells Stern. “It’s just about life changes, and we all go through different stages and we’re focused on different things.”
She continues, “To be fair, I think that Taylor’s pretty f—ing cool that over the years no matter what creative transformation that I’ve gone through, he’s always been very supportive of that and loving.”

Romantic relationship or not, the 35-year-old actor will continue to inspire Gaga’s music, particularly the hits off her new album, Joanne., which dropped Friday.
“There’s a lot on this record inspired by our relationship, and he’s super supportive of me expressing myself artistically,” she says.
“I’m actually very close to Taylor,” the “Perfect Illusion” singer adds. “He’s been my lover and my friend for a really long time. He’s been so supportive of the album, and I support him on his show, Chicago Fire.”

The couple amicably called off their engagement in July after Kinney popped the question in 2015 on Valentine’s Day with a heart-shaped ring after four years together.
However, there are still some things Gaga wouldn’t be so keen to back — like Kinney finding a new love interest.
“I’m not going to f—ing throw a party!” Gaga joked when Stern asked if she’d be happy for Kinney if he started dating someone new.
