Rosie O’Donnell Responds to Donald Trump Debate Dis by Calling Him an ‘Orange Anus’ — and Madonna Has Her Back
Rosie O’Donnell wasn’t watching Monday night’s presidential debate, but she still got dragged into the middle of it.
During the political showdown between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, the Democratic candidate brought up the businessman’s history of misogynistic comments toward women. While O’Donnell wasn’t specifically mentioned, Trump took the opportunity to call out his long-time nemesis, whom he has referred to as a “true loser,” “slob,” “unattractive,” “disgusting,” and a “degenerate” throughout their decade-long feud.
“Hillary is hitting me with tremendous commercials,” Trump said. “Some of it said in entertainment, some of it said by somebody who’s been very vicious to me — Rosie O’Donnell. I said very tough things to her and I think everybody would agree that she deserves it and nobody feels sorry for her.”
O’Donnell had noted on Twitter that she wasn’t watching the debate — she was hanging out with her 3-year-old daughter instead — but she quickly caught wind that she was a talking point and responded in a big way.
First, she told her 891,000 followers that Trump “will never be president,” something she has tweeted before:
HE WILL NEVER BE PRESIDENT … @WeinerAnne

Then, while sharing a link to The View segment, which sparked their feud 10 years ago, she called him an “orange anus”:

The 2006 clip showed O’Donnell and her View co-hosts discussing a press conference Trump held in which he announced that the reigning Miss USA, who was Tara Conner, could retain her title after allegations of underage drinking, drug use, and promiscuity. (At the time, he was the co-owner of the pageant.) O’Donnell poked fun at Trump in the segment, copying his hairstyle and mimicking his voice, while calling him out for thinking “he’s the moral compass for 20-year-olds in America,” saying, “He annoys me on a multitude of levels.” She also brought up Trump’s several bankruptcies, noted how he started his businesses with his father’s money, and described him as “one of those snake oil salesmen in Little House on the Prairie.”
Since then, it’s been open season on O’Donnell by Trump. From talk show appearances to Twitter mentions, he’s relentlessly made insulting comments about her. Here’s a random sample of the tweets:
Rosie is crude, rude, obnoxious and dumb – other than that I like her very much!

I feel sorry for Rosie ’s new partner in love whose parents are devastated at the thought of their daughter being with @Rosie–a true loser.

.@Rosie–If America’s Got Talent uses you, the show will fail like all your others!

Rosie O'Donnell just said she felt “shame” at being fat-not politically correct! She killed Star Jones for weight loss surgery, just had it!

And one — yes, one — interview:
The list goes on. O’Donnell received no shortage of support last night for the debate call out. However, one of the biggest names coming to her aid was her old friend Madonna, who took to Instagram to write, “Mess with my girl Rosie and you’re messing with me!!! Cruelty never made anyone a winner.”

We’re sure Madonna’s Donald Trump pi?ata is rubbish at this point, but if not, maybe she should invite Ro over for a go at it.
