Scott Disick Wants to ‘Try and Make Things Work Again’ With Kourtney Kardashian: Source
Friendly exes take Cabo!
Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian spent their weekend in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, a source tells PEOPLE.
“Scott set it all up and was a way to try and make things work again with Kourtney,” says the source. “He surprised her and whisked her away on this trip.”
Another source said that the former couple — who share kids Mason, 6, Penelope, 4, and Reign, 23 months — seemed “very close and happy” while hanging out in Cabo this weekend.
“They seem very close and happy,” the second source says.
In photos from their trip, Kardashian was spotted in a barely-there string bikini while Disick wore floral swim trunks. The former couple were seen lounging and playing with a lime green soccer ball.
Disick also shared a sexy Instagram of Kardashian wading in a pool on Sunday.
“Views,” he captioned the shot of the eldest Kardashian sister showing off her booty in a thong swimsuit.
Disick, 33, and Kardashian, 37, split in 2015 after an on-again, off-again 9-year relationship. Since then, however, they have remained close in their commitment to co-parent their daughter and two sons.

In an August episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kardashian expressed her hesitance toward rekindling her relationship with Disick. She even shared her concern with going to Disick’s 33rd birthday party in Las Vegas.
“I’m just not sure if I wanna go,” Kardashian revealed in her interview. “I mean I’m so happy that Scott and I are getting along so well and that we’re co-parenting, but I think hanging out with Scott without the kids … Scott can just take any little thing and run with it and think that like we’re getting back together tomorrow.”
“Right now I can’t even wrap my head around that idea,” she added. “There’s so much work that would be involved and I’m so not even there yet.”
Kardashian made similar comments to Cosmopolitan in her August cover story.
“The idea of having my family together is amazing, but it’s not the way things ended up. They may end up there. I’m not sure. To me, it’s in God’s hands. If it’s meant to be, then things will line up,” she said. “We definitely tried for a long time. But relationships are exhausting! Being able to focus on the kids and me right now is good. We say to each other all the time, ‘I’m the coolest ex-girlfriend/baby mama you could ever ask for!'”
