Who Is Arianne Zucker, the Actress at the Center of Donald Trump and Billy Bush's Gawking?

As if the race for the White House could get any more theatrical.

On Friday, the Washington Post published a video of a conversation in 2005 in which Donald Trump bragged to the TV reporter Billy Bush about his successes (and lack thereof) groping and trying to have sex with women. The real estate developer was arriving to film a cameo on the soap opera Days of Our Lives at the time.

The recording was taped moments before Trump and Access Hollywood reporter Bush were set to shoot a segment for the entertainment program. Clearly, neither realized that they were being recorded by a live mic.

Bush, who continues to work as a TV host, has apologized for the remarks he made in the video.

“Obviously, I’m embarrassed and ashamed. It’s no excuse, but this happened 11 years ago — I was younger, less mature, and acted foolishly in playing along,” he said in a statement. “I’m very sorry.”

The Republican presidential nominee, however, brushed off the incident. Trump dismissed it as “locker-room banter” and “a private conversation.” He added, “I apologize if anyone was offended.”

But the host and Trump — who married his wife, Melania, eight months before his cozy chat with Bush — are not the only ones who appear in the video. The men are also heard drooling over Days actress Arianne Zucker, who was there to greet both men and take them to the set.

So who is Zucker, described as “hot as s**t,” and as having “good legs,” that Trump and Bush were both ogling? Here are six things to know about the actress unintentionally making headlines.

1. Days was her big break.

Zucker, now 42, began modeling at 16, but gained notoriety with her gig on the long-running Days of Our Lives beginning in 1998. So how did she end up in acting? A junior agent saw her at a wedding and sent her to audition. Zucker told Glamour she was “horrible,” but got a callback months later. She was nominated for three Daytime Emmy Awards and one Soap Opera Digest Award for her portrayal of Nicole Walker.

2. She wanted to be a veterinarian.

Prior to landing her most famous gig, Zucker was taking pre-vet courses at Pierce College in Los Angeles.

3. She’s a mother.

Zucker has one daughter, Isabelle, with her ex-husband, Kyle Lowder. The two met on set of Days in 2000 and married two years later. They separated in 2007, but reconciled and had a daughter before finally divorcing in 2014. While not much is known as to why the pair split, they both proudly tweet about their daughter.

4. She definitely remembers Trump.

Before Friday, Zucker clearly recalled Trump’s cameo. This summer, she tweeted:

5. She’s charitable.

Zucker co-created the nonprofit organization ARROW-HEART Adventure Camps with her brother.

“When I was a kid, which is why I started my nonprofit, I was one of those kids that was just in survivor mode,” she told Glamour in January. “I still had great parents, but I just made bad choices.”

ARROW-HEART is “committed to enriching the lives of young teens through a challenging outdoor adventure. … We inspire kids to want to make better choices, build character, confidence, credibility and critical thinking skills.” The organization has tested its adventure camp in three countries.

6. She’s tough.

According to Zucker’s IMDb page, she has a green belt in taekwondo. Those moves could have come in handy 11 years ago, if she had known what was being said.

Zucker herself has yet to comment on the newly surfaced video.
