Yeezy for Kids?

Everyone knows that Kanye West is behind the extremely popular clothing and shoe line Yeezy. Well, yesterday, his wife, Kim Kardashian, took to Snapchat and revealed that she and Kanye are working on a childrens clothing line together. Of course, their daughter, North, modeled the clothes, a shearling-lined jacket and a yellow sequined dress, but Kim also let fans know that North picked out the colors and the fabric. The jacket North is rocking is like a miniature version of a style from Kanye’s Yeezy Season 4 collection, which debuted last September.

Designing childrens wear is something the parents of two have been planning for a while now. Back in early 2016, Kanye said he was “only working on kid’s clothing … full time” for the Yeezy Season 4 collection. He even gave Chrissy Teigen and John Legend baby Yeezy sneakers for their daughter, Luna. However, when Yeezy Season 4 hit the runway last September, there were no children’s items included.

Later that month, Kim took to Snapchat and teased a line of childrens wear with the logo “Calabasas,” saying that she and Kanye “have an exciting project coming up soon.” Calabasas is a collab or line with Adidas — as is Yeezy — and it popped up on Kim’s Snapchat again last month. Although there is no release date for a Yeezy or Calabasas childrens line, Kim promised that it will be “coming soon.” And since Kanye just confirmed that there will be a Yeezy Season 5 show at NYFW this month, maybe we’ll get to see it there!
