You also can’t forget bug spray, and you’ll never have enough sunscreen, so pack more than you think you’ll need. Wear Sneakers Not Sandals — A poll on the Coachella website makes it clear that sneakers and boots are the way to go at Coachella. Your feet will get wet and muddy and stepped on. Do what you can to avoid it. Wellies are hugely popular and will keep you dry and comfortable, all the way to your knees.

Pack Layers to go From Hot Days to Cold Nights — The days at Coachella are blistering hot and you'll see bikinis everywhere. At night however, the temp drops to cold dessert depths! Kate Bosworth had it right in this utility jacket not to mention feet saving Wellies. Make sure to toss light layers into your backpack lots of extra socks, sweaters, flannels (or tie those around your waist) and dont' forget a wool beanie. This way if you're slapped in the face by a gust of nsuspecting cold, you'll be prepared to kick right back at it.
