Valentine Gifts You'll Enjoy Naked

Valentine’s Day falls on a weekend this year. Hooray! Nothing is more relaxing than a warm. loving, bath. Here is a fantastic homemade treat that you can mix up in the kitchen, but enjoy in the bathroom!  Drop this fizzy bath bomb in your tub and let the scent of the wildflowers take you to your own secret garden!

Tools

  • Sieve

  • Measuring spoons

  • Large bowl & small bowls

Materials

  • 1 1/2 Cups baking soda

  • 1/2 Cup citric acid powder

  • 2 Teaspoons sweet almond extract

  • Food coloring

  • Ivy leaves

  • Twine

  • Ball plastic moulds

Steps

1. In large bowl sift together dry ingredients.

2. In small bowl mix together the almond oil & 6 drops of food coloring

3. Pour the oil mixture (1/2 teaspoon at a time) into the dry ingredients (1/2 cup at a time) and mix quickly before it starts to fizz.

4. Wipe a little almond oil into moulds to prevent sticking.  Fill the moulds with the mixture, packing it in firmly to create a smooth ball shape.  Let the mixture harden in the molds for 24 hours, then remove.

5.  Wrap the leaf around the ball and secure with twine.
