Quick Trick For Decorating Cookies

Tess Panzer

Looking for a new way to put your own stamp on cookie baking? Why not do exactly that!

Materials:

  • Your favorite sugar or butter cookie dough

  • Ruler

  • Knife

  • Rolling pin

  • Rubber stamps

  • Powdered sugar

  • Panettone loaf liner or cookie tin

  • Cellophane baggies

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to the temperature your cookie dough or recipe calls for and then line a cookie sheet with parchment.

2. Roll out the cookie dough to a ?” thickness and lay it on your cookie sheet.

3. Cut out your cookies, using a ruler and knife to match the size of your stamps and peel off the scraps and stamp each cookie with a rubber stamp of your choosing. Press hard enough to make an imprint.

4. Bake according to instructions and cool your cookies on a rack.
5. Once cool, spoon a heap of powdered sugar on top on the cookie, rub it in gently and then dust off the excess.
