1,000-Lb. Sisters’ Amy Slaton arrested at zoo: Police

ALAMO, Tenn. (WJW) – Amy Slaton Halterman, co-star of the TLC show 1,000-Lb. Sisters alongside her sister Tammy, was arrested on Labor Day at a Tennessee zoo.
According to a post on the Crockett County Sheriff’s Department Facebook page, deputies responded to Safari Park after a guest was reportedly bitten by a camel.
‘Special announcement’ at Cleveland Browns Stadium
When deputies arrived at the scene, they were “immediately overtaken by suspicious odors coming from the guest’s vehicle,” the Facebook post said.
Halterman was arrested and charged with illegal possession of Schedule I, illegal possession of Schedule IV and two counts of child endangerment, according to the post.
Brian Scott Lovvorn, who was also in the vehicle, is facing the same charges.

Both Halterman and Lovvorn were booked into the Crockett County Jail, according to the Facebook post.
No further information has been released about who was allegedly bitten by the camel or what injuries were sustained.
