'1000-Lb Sisters' Tammy Slaton Reveals Staggering 500-Pound Weight Loss in New Video

In 2020, TLC viewers were introduced to Amy and Tammy Slaton on 1000-Lb Sisters. Amy weighed more than 400 pounds at the time, while Tammy tipped the scales at over 600 pounds. Fast-forward to today, and Tammy recently revealed a staggering 500-pound weight loss.

On Aug. 17, the reality TV star, 38, took to TikTok to share the news with her followers. Tammy reshared a friend's video, during which women gathered one-by-one while Andra Day's "Rise Up" played. As each person walked onto the screen, their weight loss appeared and was added to the group's cumulative total.

"In total we have lost 2,078 lbs!" the original caption read. "?Weightloss Warriors?."

Tammy fittingly lip-synced "Rise Up" in one-half of her side-by-side TikTok post.

Tammy's TikTok followers showered her with love and praise in the comments, with one writing, "You are an absolute inspiration??."

Another commented, "YESSSSS ???????????? So proud of you Tammy!!!!" while someone else shared, "Tammy babe, you're doing all the things you never thought you could. Slay girl ????."

Yet another declared, "This is so inspirational, all of you! But Tammy! you take the cake!! So happy for you. young woman??."

At her heaviest, Tammy weighed 725 pounds. The reality star eventually met her weight goal to qualify for bariatric surgery in July 2002. In December 2023, Tammy told People she was down to 285 pounds.
