The spring concert season is in full swing, and Memphis and the Mid-South will see a wide range of shows come through the area in April.

From power-pop greats to sacred soul queens, jazz giants to country stars and more, the upcoming concert calendar offers much to look forward to.

Those Pretty Wrongs: April 5, The Green Room at Crosstown Arts

Those Pretty Wrongs — the pop duo led by Memphian/Big Star legend Jody Stephens and Los Angeles singer-songwriter Luther Russell — are marking a decade of collaboration and supporting their latest album, 2023’s acclaimed “Holiday Camp,” with a special intimate show at the Green Room on April 5. Riley Green: April 5, BankPlus Amphitheater at Snowden Grove

Elizabeth King: April 6, The Green Room at Crosstown Arts

The Sacred Soul Queen of Memphis, Elizabeth King, is back with a new album. The 80-year-old vocal dynamo is set to release her latest LP, "Soul Provider," on April 12. Memphis Comedy Festival: April 6, Landers Center

It will be a laugh riot as the Memphis Comedy Festival brings some of the country’s funniest folks to the Landers Center on April 6. Ray Wylie Hubbard: April 10, Lafayette’s Music Room

The Wood Brothers: April 12, Minglewood Hall

Promoters Mempho Presents are bringing the American roots band The Wood Brothers to town. The New York City combo is touring in support of its most recent album, “Heart is the Hero,” and will be making a stop at Minglewood Hall on April 12 for an all-ages show. Christian McBride: April 13, GPAC

Eight-time Grammy award winner and American jazz great Christian McBride headlines a show at the Germantown Performing Arts Center on April 13. Cody Johnson: April 13, FedExForum

Platinum-selling recording artist Cody Johnson will play FedExForum in April. Johnson — the CMA Vocalist of the Year nominee — will bring his “The Leather Tour” to the Downtown venue on April 13. The Love Hard Tour, featuring Keyshia Cole, Trey Songz, K. Michelle and Jaheim: April 14, Landers Center

Several of the top names in contemporary R&B have teamed up for The Love Hard Tour. The concert event will feature performances by Keyshia Cole, Trey Songz, Jaheim and K. Michelle. Irish pop music star Hozier is coming back to the Mid-South. One of the hottest stars in bluegrass and roots music, Molly Tuttle, brings her “Down the Rabbit Hole Tour,” to Midtown Memphis’ Growlers on April 28.
