According to the folks in the comments of this BuzzFeed quiz and this Reddit thread, these iconic movies are actually boring, and I kinda agree with most of them.

Some movies gained notoriety for their cast or the director. Or maybe critics just loved the film for some mysterious reason. However, these "iconic" movies are really just...boring.

Personally, I loved the movie, but redditor u/GoldPisseR says, "Dunkirk had me looking at the watch quite a few times. The movie is shot beautifully, but the dialogue felt too mechanical and rehearsed, and I didn't give a shit about what happened to anyone. And goddamn that ticking background score — they were trying really hard to make you feel the intensity."
