2022-23 TV Preview: Every New Comedy, Drama and Unscripted Show
As one TV season nears its end, another is already in the works, with a slew of new shows getting the green light for this fall — and beyond.
With Upfronts presentations just around the corner the week of May 16, the broadcast networks — ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and The CW — have already begun announcing their series pickups for the 2022-23 TV season, revealing which new comedies, dramas and unscripted programs will be hitting our screens. Of course, there are plenty of revivals, reboots and spinoffs like NBC’s Night Court and Quantum Leap, ABC’s The Rookie: Feds and a TV series version of True Lies at CBS. Plus, The CW has picked up prequel offshoots for Supernatural and Walker. Viewers can also expect news series such as the Gina Rodriguez comedy Not Dead Yet, The CW’s latest DC Comic show Gotham Knights and Hilary Swank-starrer Alaska.
