2024 Creative Arts Emmys winners: Angela Bassett scores first Emmy, “SNL ”wins big
Find out which shows and movies are winning Emmys across 99 categories this weekend.
With still a week to go before the 2024 Primetime Emmys ceremony, a majority of the statuettes are getting handed out this weekend at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
Winners in 99 categories are being announced during a two-night ceremony this Saturday and Sunday at the Peacock Theater at L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles. An edited presentation of the ceremonies will air Sept. 14 on FXX, and stream on Hulu Sept. 15 through Oct. 9.
While many of the awards doled out this weekend honor behind-the-scenes workers in fields like directing, editing, casting, costuming, and production designing, onscreen talent will also be recognized, with awards for reality and game show hosts and guest actors in comedy and drama series. So top-nominated shows like The Bear, Shōgun, Only Murders in the Building, The Crown, True Detective: Night Country, and Saturday Night Live are primed to take home plenty of hardware ahead of the main Emmy Awards ceremony taking place Sunday, Sept. 15, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on ABC.
